At Modern Smile Center, you can be sure you’re receiving the most advanced dental care available with technology that makes treatments less invasive, faster, more comfortable, and with better results than ever before. We’re always looking for ways to innovate and provide a better experience for our patients. That’s why we’re dedicated to continuing education and investing in the latest technology that keeps us on the cutting edge of dentistry. Come experience the difference for yourself!
Our in-office milling machine is one of our favorite pieces of technology because it shrinks a process that used to require an offsite lab, messy impressions, temporaries, and multiple appointments down to a single piece of chairside equipment – and a single appointment! Same day dentistry has transformed the experience of having a dental restoration like a crown or bridge. Digital technology is fast and accurate, and we can create a perfectly color-matched restoration and place it the very same day! No more return visits, get in, get out, and get back to your life with a smile the same day!
With our advanced intraoral scanner technology, gone are the days of goopy, messy impressions. With iTero, we can take fast, high-precision scans of your entire mouth that allow us to provide the high quality dentistry you deserve. Our iTero scanner helps us create perfect crowns and bridges, place implants with precision accuracy, and create seamless orthodontic treatment plans including Invisalign – we can even show you what your new smile will look like after treatment. With advanced digital imaging, we get things right the first time so you can get back to your life with a healthy, beautiful smile.
X-ray technology has come a long way in recent years, and we’re proud to use advanced digital x-ray technology in our practice every day. Digital x-rays are much safer for patients and our staff, as they produce 90% less radiation than traditional x-rays. Not only are they safer, they are faster and more convenient as well. Digital x-rays can be taken in a matter of moments, right from the dental chair, and can be viewed instantly on the screen. Digital x-rays leave less chance for human error for the most accurate diagnostics.
“Dr. Cimino and his team make me and mine feel like family. They go above and beyond to make sure our needs are met. Dr. Cimino is very down to earth to say the least. His knowledge and pursuit of the latest technologies is beyond any other dentist I have ever seen. Dr. Cimino and his staff are superior.”

Intra-oral Cameras We love intra-oral cameras because they’re able to capture more than we’re able to see with our eyes alone. The camera is the size of a pen, allowing easy, comfortable access to the nooks and crannies inside your mouth. The images it snaps for us can be magnified up to 40 times, simplifying the diagnostic and treatment processes. Even better, you’re able to examine these photos with us to get a better idea of how your oral hygiene habits could use improvement, or how well they’re paying off!
In the past, the only way we could analyze your bite was by having you bite down on a piece of carbon paper that would indicate the points of contact. There was no real way of measuring premature contacts or high forces on your teeth. Today, T-scan technology gives us a clear view of what’s happening when you bite down, so we can better diagnose, better treatment plan, and create new restorations that fit right the first time. T-scan technology is incredibly beneficial for us in the areas of orthodontics, TMJ, and restorative dentistry.
